Anyone enjoyed Mazzy star back in the day? I think I've read that they are reuniting for a tour.

Nirvana holds up for me, almost everything they recorded still sounds awesome. Hole holds up. Sleater-Kinney is better than both of them. Hammerbox I can take, and Gruntruck, too, sometimes. Can't listen to Alice In Chains or Mudhoney or Soundgarden. Can't fucking listen to them.

Pearl Jam is...somewhere in the middle somewhere.

Mazzy's new album is okay. Nice background music.

August Osage is a fucking acting clinic. I loved it just for the performances. I've seen it twice already.

Of all the grunge era bands, AIC has aged, to me.

That 'fields of gold' song by sting is one of my favorites.

Another pop song I think is simple, yet genius is 'say something' by xstina aguilLera and whoever.

Did you see the footage of Robert Downey, Sr's son Robert Downey, Jr singing Driven To Tears with Sting?

I can't ignore the elephant in the room, Troop A.

We can't chat and just pretend Kate Beckinsale's forehead at the farce know as the Golden Globes the other Sunday night was normal and okay.

Didn't see her. I will have to look it up.

I have tired of Johnny depp. Just the sight of him and his faux Europeanish accent makes me angry. His acting has gone the way of Adam sander and Eddie Murphy- he has the same schtick in every movie - always the same.

I've grown quite fond of Burton's Alice in Wonderland, more the aesthetics and obviously Elfman's score, but I like Helena Bonham and Anne Hathaway in it, as well as Mia Whatsherface. Depp is abysmal in it. The. Worst.

Watched les Mis the other night. While it was not my style of movie to watch, I thought Anne Hathaway was fantastic.

The new show on HBO with mccohgnahy and harrelson was filmed in my town. Like, 5 minutes down the road. All those cane fields you see - that's us. Ella knows bout this cause she's been to Oak Alley plantation.

McConaughey's had the most amazing career birth (is it even a rebirth, really?) of anyone I can remember.

I enjoyed that. I like the sound, I like her voice, I like how she looks so innocent.

She looks like Rachael Leigh Cook.
