I really want to like this. I do.

But I don't. It sounds like an "adult contemporary power ballad"...

I take that back. It doesn't sound like an adult contemporary power ballad.

It is one.

It's a very mature song. Shows a lot of growth. Obviously Spanish wouldn't get it.

I call on bullshit on this statement.

I wasn't a fan of the last two albums but I can see "growth" and "maturity" on songs like "Just Breathe" and "Come back"... I'm all for artists allowing their music to grow with them. What I loved about Pearl Jam is the fact that that's exactly what they did in the 90's. From Vitalogy to No Code to Yield the growth was very noticeable and the direction was always honest and pure.

But this song is fucking garbage. They wrote a little hit for contemporary radio.

So get your head out of your ass pinkus. Eddie could shove a microphone inside a bucket, fart in it, and you'd be drooling all over it.

That's because it is a good song.

Some people are just very jealous because no matter how hard they try they know
that they can never even come close to accomplishing what this band has. They will
continue to wear their silly hats and colored socks hoping that one day they might,
just might have as much talent that Eddie has in his pinky nail. I personally do not
think they will ever see that day.

The more and more I listen to this song, and watch the video, the more I like it.

As a matter of fact, last night, I imagined that Eddie was singing it
to me while Stone was sucking my dick. It was a nice moment.

It's a bonus track if you pre-order the cd through the fanclub.

It isn't garbage....but it is very adult contemporary, which is fine. It's that time in their lives.

I don't give a shit either way. I'm not there yet. I'm still stuck on the Avocado. Still.

I'm with ella on this. No, I didn't like the video for MYM because it was the same old dumb artwork that wasn't that great to begin with recycled and shoved out there. I didn't love the song, either. Then this one, I felt like Beavis and Butthead..."What is this crépe? It sounds like...Nelson." But it usually takes me a few tries to like almost anything that comes out and no matter how much I end up loving it, for the first run or two, I don't really enjoy it for the most part.

I think part of that is anxiety. Many times if I am listening to something like that, I already like the BAND involved and I desperately don't want the album to be a dud or to suck. So I'm nervous. I hear the first half of a song and I either think I like it or I don't and I'm anxious to get to the next one to see what the deal is. Takes me a few listens to really decide if I like something or not.

My current opinion of this song, however, lies about where spanish is on it.

I'm curious about what bagel and skitch have to say about it.

But I think their silence speaks volumes already.

I don't give a fuck what anyone else thinks about it.
I don't base my opinions on what other people think.
I'm able to think for myself.
